Lately I've been watching a lot more King of the Hill because I recently procured seasons 11 and 12. Thankfully, King of the Hill hasn't gotten to the point where they've either run out of material or have been over produced (like the Simpsons). I like shows hat aren't drawn out just to keep the series going, which is why I watch a lot of newer shows, ones that got cancelled, or ended early. I didn't listen to much music this week, my commute got much shorter since I moved and is mostly under ground so I can't listen to death metal on my iphone through pandora as much.

One of my more significant endeavors was going to watch Yes Man. I am a big Jim Carey fan. I've been watching his movies since the first Pet Detective. Yes Man was a touching movie about a man who wasn't dong well in life. He worked in a bank not going anywhere in the company. His friend invited him to a seminar in which the motivational speaker made him take an oath to say yes to everything. He stays true to his oath and advances his career and gets a new girlfriend. Of course there is conflict in the movie but I don't want to go too in depth and ruin the movie for people who ma be reading this and haven't seen it yet. I really liked the movie even though it wasn't one of his outrageous laugh out loud comedies. It was still funny in its ways and it had some seriousness to it. Jim Carey, unlike many comedians, is great in serious films. I would see any of his movies. The experience of actually going to the movies is somewhat of a mixed thing. On one hand I don't like how to price of a ticket is constantly going up for no apparent reason (not to say that there isn't one); however, I do like seeing a movie on the big screen, it's an experience you don't get watching a movie anywhere else.

Overall it was a goos week.
